So what's this all about then?

The idea to start selling battenberg badges to fellow Wittertainees started when people were emailing the show with suggestions of how to spot other listeners. Ideas were brought forward, but nothing seemed to be appropriate. Then the App came along and now you can see how many fans are near you, but you are unlikely to knowingly bump into any. Situations have arisen (remember the train carriage saga?) where friends could have been made, or a friendly "hello to Jason" could have been shared had they known they were all members of the church. This then lead me to the conclusion that a visual aid was needed, and that I would make it happen: the battenberg badge was born.

This has nothing to do with the BBC, I am just a huge fan of the podcast and a massive film fan (I used to be a projectionist, but you can now find me in ceramist's corner and on twitter @tinkitytonk).

I want to connect people who enjoy film and Wittertainment as much as I do, and if I can raise money for charity at the same time, then even better! I have chosen to support the MS society as I have members of my family fighting the disease, for which there is currently no cure.

Thank you to everybody who has bought a badge, and Tinkity tonk old fruits!
